Modifications of the continuous Mróz-model which exhibit ratchetting rate decay
We propose some modifications of the kinematic hardening rule of the continuous one-parameter Mroz model, which are aimed to improve the description of ratchetting behavior. Numerical simulations confirm the stability of these models and show at least qualitative agreement with published experimental data. Examples, which show limitations of these models, are discussed as well. In a second approach we introduce a hysteresis operator with fading memory as a means to describe the memory effects connected with ratchetting.
